That’s a good question, you’d think at this point I’d be completely and utterly blogged / Youtubed out! And to be honest I probably am, if you want to learn more about all my other endeavours online then head over to the About page, that should be information overload!
And yet despite all of that, here we are 🙂
When I first started blogging back in 1997/1998, I had always treated it more like a diary. Where I’d talk about my personal life, my friends, random thoughts I had that I would share online with the universe and through that I actually ended up meeting some of my now nearest and dearest friends.
My online journey since then has taken on many different shapes and sizes, but I always missed having a personal channel that wasn’t dedicated to any one topic that I could use to talk about my personal thoughts and events. Maybe I want to document a fun day out with friends? Right now I can only either do that on my social media accounts or vlog channel. All good and well, but there is definitely something meaningful about the written word and having it documented all through photos and words.
Which is the main reason I ended up creating this blog, the name Tell Me Your Fable is the same as my vlog channel because to me the two online channels mirror each other. And if you’ve followed me for any length of time you’ll know that fairy tales are forever my favourite hence the tie in with “fable”. This space will give me an opportunity to expand on the videos I upload, as well as explore other topics that don’t really feel fit the video format.
And if you’re expecting a regular schedule, please don’t! (Come on, am I even know for consistent content anywhere?!) The same goes for my vlogging channel, I’ve given myself permission to post as much or as little as I like on both, with the priority always being my other more mainstream accounts 🙂
The reality is, most people who find me online will find me either through beauty or the planner community and it mostly will end there. And those very few if any that make it to Tell Me Your Fable are often personal friends or interested parties 🙂
So hopefully all that’s clear, figured this would be an appropriate first post! Let the official posting begin 😀
